Dit is de literaire website van Thomas Lindblad, romanschrijver. Deze website geeft informatie over het genre coming-of-age romans en de zes romans die Thomas Lindblad tot nog toe heeft gepubliceerd. Op deze website verschijnt regelmatig een kort verhaal van zijn hand. Eerder verscheen hier in afleveringen zijn voorlaatste roman, nu als Duel der Vikingen verkrijgbaar bij www.quist.nl.

Thomas Lindblad is van Zweedse origine en woont sinds geruime tijd in Nederland. Hij was als docent geschiedenis verbonden aan de Universiteit Leiden. Hij publiceerde een trilogie, bestaande uit De jonge reiziger (2006), De jonge docent (2008) en De jonge geleerde (2009); de daaraan gerelateerde roman Scherpe Kleuren (2013); en de roman Duel der Vikingen (2017).
In al zijn de boeken staat de thematiek van volwassen worden, coming of age, centraal. Met deze website wil Thomas Lindblad zijn fascinatie voor dit genre romans delen. Thomas Lindblad is of Swedish origin and lives in the Netherlands for many years. He taught history at the University of Leiden. He published a trilogy consisting of The Young Traveller (2013), The Young Lecturer (2015) and The Young Scholar (forthcoming); the related novel "Scherpe Kleuren" (in Dutch only); and his novel Duel of Vikings (English version available on this site only.) All originally published in Dutch.
In all his books growing up, coming of age, plays a key role. This website aims at sharing Thomas Lindblad's fascination for novels on this theme.
